Breath Alcohol Technician Refresher Training Course Description:
This course follows the training curriculum as prescribed by the Department of Transportation (DOT), the procedural requirements for alcohol testing as stated in the 49CFR Part 40 (Federal Register vol. 59, no. 31, Tuesday February 15, 1194 pgs. 7340-7366) and Amendments to the rules. EBT Manufacturer protocol for operation/maintenance/storage, as well as external calibration checks.

  • Evidential Breath Alcohol Testing - Issues and Answers
  • Subject problemsand procedures
  • How to conduct screening and confirmation tests
  • Review equipment problems and learn how to troubleshoot
  • How to become proficient inoperation of the BAT unit and performing external calibration checks, records and log keeping.
  • Hands-on demonstration and practice, simulating difficult techniques for difficult patients including troubleshooting, coaching reproducible results, correct patient techniques and procedures.
